KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team wraps up its regular season with two home matches this weekend. The Broncos host Miami on Friday, April 20 before welcoming Bowling Green on Sunday, April 22 for Senior Day. Weather permitting the matches will take place out on Sorensen Courts with a 1 p.m. start. Admission to all home tennis matches is free.

The Brown & Gold look to snap their four-match losing skid this weekend and come in with a 11-11 record this spring and are 2-4 in the Mid-American Conference. Miami owns a 9-8 overall record and is second in the conference at 5-1. The Falcons enter Sunday having lost the last three matchups to the Broncos and are 12-8 this year with a 4-3 MAC record.
Junior Melina Lyubomirova, who owns a 15-6 dual match record, is currently on a nine-match win streak. The lone senior Barbare Eristavi is second on the team this spring with a 13-8 record and leads the team at No. 1 with seven wins while junior Denise Azcui is second amongst all Broncos with 17 total wins.
In doubles, the duo of junior Katja Fevralev/Lyubomirova and Azcui/Jeryn Jack both own a record of 5-6.
Prior to the match against Bowling Green, WMU will recognize its lone senior in Eristavi.
