KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team has released its National Collegiate Hockey Conference schedule for the upcoming 2018-19 season.
The Broncos host Omaha, Minnesota-Duluth, Miami, Denver, North Dakota and St. Cloud State, while traveling to DU, UND, STSU, UNO, Colorado College and MU.
WMU opens conference play on the road at the Pioneers before hosting the Mavericks to open NCHC play at Lawson Ice Arena on Nov. 9-10. The defending National Championship Bulldogs come to Lawson Ice Arena on Dec. 7-8, making the third-straight season the Broncos will have hosted a reigning national champion. Denver makes the return trip to Kalamazoo on Jan. 25-26, as do the Fighting Hawks on Feb. 15-16. The Huskies come to Lawson to close out the home conference schedule for WMU on March 1-2 before the Broncos travel to the RedHawks to close out the regular season.
