PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 39-ranked Western Michigan men's tennis team dropped its second consecutive match at Princeton on Sunday afternoon with a final score of 5-2 inside Jadwin Gym. With the loss, the Broncos conclude their nonconference schedule and are 11-4 overall to begin Mid-American Conference play.

The Tigers took the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 in that order, taking a 1-0 lead heading into singles play. Sophomore
Jannik Opitz extended his winning streak to two with a win at 7-6, 6-1 win at No. 2 to even the score at 1-1.
Princeton pushed its lead and clinched the match with wins at six, three and one, all in that order.

The Broncos set their eyes on MAC play next, traveling to Toledo, Ohio to face Toledo on March 16 and Buffalo in Toledo on March, 17.
