KALAMAZOO, Mich. – With the conclusion of the 2017-18 Western Michigan women's basketball season, we'll take a look back at some of the records and facts about the Broncos' season.

Western Michigan finished 18-15 overall, 9-9 in the Mid-American Conference and finished third in the west concluding the regular-season. The Broncos made a trip to the MAC Tournament Semifinals for the second consecutive year and second time since 2003 after upsetting three-seeded Ball State in the quarterfinals.
The team tied its longest winning streak of the season at four games before falling in the semifinals to the No. 2 seed Buffalo. Head coach
Shane Clipfell, who just finished his sixth season, has now led the Broncos to four straight 17+ winning seasons and has made the MAC Tournament Quarterfinals in each of his first six season.
As a team, WMU scored the third most points in school history (2308) and grabbed the fifth highest rebounds (1258). The team also tied with last season for the fifth highest field goals made (852) and is now fifth in three-point field goals (178) and seventh in free-throws made (426).
Following the regular-season, junior standout
Breanna Mobley was named to the All-MAC Honorable Mention team and led the Broncos, averaging 16.3 points and 8.3 rebounds, shooting 55.6 percent from the floor. The forward ranked eighth in the MAC in scoring and fifth in rebounding all while also ranked fourth in the conference in field goal percentage (.556), eighth in blocked shots (0.8), and second in offensive rebounds (3.9) to conclude her junior year.
Mobley's name can be found all over the Bronco record book. During her career, Mobley is fifth in rebounds (808), 13th in scoring (1253), 13th in field goals made (484), ninth in free-throws made (285), and tied for eighth in blocks (83) and still has another year to play. The forward can become just the second player in WMU history to collect 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds, joining Pat Charity. For a single season, she had the fifth highest points (538), tied for the fifth most rebounds with Charity (274), seventh highest field goal percentage (.556) and fifth highest free-throws made (135).

Deja Wimby was the floor general this season for the Broncos, averaging 11.5 points, 6.2 assists and 4.7 rebounds. Through three seasons, the guard is third in career assists (370) after posting the third highest single season record of 193 assists. She concluded the season posting a double-double (P/A) in four of the last five games. With one season remaining, the Fort Wayne, Ind. native sits in 11th in career steals (165). She dished out 69 to lead the team this year.
Also in the record book, freshman
Jordan Walker scored a career-high 32 points, the most points by any Bronco player this season, during the First Round MAC Tournament game to lead WMU over Bowling Green. She joins five other accomplished Broncos to score 32 points in a single game, including Carrie Moore. The feat is also the eighth highest points scored in a WMU individual game record.
The Broncos say goodbye to five seniors including
LaTondra Brooks,
Aneisha Carlisle,
Marley Hill,
Alexis Parks and
Najee Smith who became the most winningest class in program history with a total of 74 wins over the last four years, eclipsing the win mark of 70 by the 1978 and 1981 seniors.
