KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team and head coach Lauren Sinacola have announced the signing of seven student-athletes for the upcoming 2018 season.

Emily Dahl (Avon, Ohio/Avon), Victoria Kyriakopoulos (Tillsonburg, Ontario/Glendale), Holly Morris (Macomb, Mich./Eisenhower), Morgan Otteson (Grand Rapids, Mich./Northview), Claudia Schilling (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Marian), Kai Sugiyama (Burlington, Ontario/Nelson) and Tanja Vucenovic (Milton, Ontario/Craig Kielburger Secondary) will join the Broncos in the fall.

The group features three defenders, one midfielder, two midfielder/forwards and one midfielder/defender. The class is also made up of three Canadians, three Michigan natives and one athlete from Ohio.

"This class is a really exciting and talented class and very impactful both on and off the field," said Sinacola. "The class has great people that can play multiple positions, which is awesome because we graduated seven starters.
