KALAMAZOO, Mich. – After splitting with Miami on the road, the Western Michigan hockey team has moved up to 14th in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.
WMU was just outside the top 15 in last week's poll but made reappearance after the series with the RedHawks. The Broncos hold steady at 15 in the US College Hockey Online poll, marking the 11th consecutive poll that the team has been in the nation's top 15. Western Michigan currently ranks 13th in the Pairwise rankings, which is a metric used to select at large bids for the NCAA Tournament.
WMU is off this weekend and hosts No. 4 St. Cloud State next Friday and Saturday at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are available by calling 1-888-4-WMUTIX and online at WMUBroncos.com/tickets.
