KALAMAZOO, MICH. - The Western Michigan women's tennis team defeated IUPUI and Hillsdale College both 7-0 inside West Hills Athletic Club on Saturday. With the victories, the Broncos climb back to 4-4 this season.

Against the Jaguars, the Brown & Gold won the doubles point behind wins from junior

Barbare Eristavi / freshman Valerie Riegraf and never looked back. In singles, WMU won all six singles matches against the IUPUI with dominating wins coming from Eristavi and sophomore
Gabriela Slavova.
In the tail end of the doubleheader against the Chargers, the Broncos took the doubles point once again, winning two of three before rattling off six wins in singles play. Freshman transfer
Valentina Sanchez Briend picked up her first singles win as a Bronco at No. 6.
Junior
Melina Lyubomirova had herself a day going 2-0 in singles at the one seed and moved her record to 4-4 overall and 3-2 at No. 1 while junior teammate Azcui improved her overall dual record to 4-4.
The Brown and Gold hit the road next weekend to face DePaul (Feb. 9) and University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (Feb 10).
