Nick Schnobel took home the MAC Doubles Team of the Week.

The three Broncos played a big role for the team last weekend to help the Broncos go 3-0 after defeating Valparaiso, Dayton and Ferris State to improve to 11-2 overall and 7-0 at home inside West Hills.
Junior Haupt went a perfect 3-0 without dropping a set against his opponents and moved from No. 4 to No. 2. The German is now 16-9 overall and 7-3 in dual-match play including an impressive 3-1 record at No. 3.
Olivarez and Schnobel continue to lead the Broncos in doubles play this season as the pair went 2-0 together with wins at No. 2. The two lead the team in wins on a 12-4 record and an impressive 6-1 record in dual-match play at the two position. The pair started the weekend with a 7-5 comeback win over Valparaiso after trailing 3-5 on Friday before winning the deciding match 7-6 over their Dayton opponents to claim the doubles point for Western Michigan. Â
The MAC recognition is the fourth consecutive week for the Broncos men's tennis team as senior
Maik Steiner has been tabbed singles player of the week twice while
Jannik Opitz garnered the award back on Jan. 24.
The Broncos hit the road this weekend during spring break to face their fourth Big Ten opponent this season in Penn State on Friday, March 2 before travelling to Princeton for a showdown with the Tigers on Sunday, March 4.
