Week Two of Spring Football Underway

KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Temperatures in the high 50's allowed the Western Michigan football team to practice outside on Tuesday, Feb. 27, which marked the beginning of the second week of Spring practice. It was also the team's second day in pads.

Western Michigan will practice again on Thursday this week and then will be off for Spring Break. The Broncos will resume practice on March 12 with 10 Spring sessions remaining.

Over the Spring period, we will feature weekly player and coach interviews, as well as photos and a behind the scenes mic'd up series on our social media outlets. Be sure to follow us on Twitter: @wmu_football and Facebook: facebook.com/wmufootball.

Today head coach Tim Lester spoke about competition within the team and commented on the linebacker corps. Junior linebacker Najee Clayton also commented on the linebacker unit.
