KALAMAZOO, MICH. – For the 12th consecutive poll, the Western Michigan Hockey team has earned a spot in the nation's top 15, ranking at 15th in both the US College Hockey Online and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls.
WMU had a bye week last weekend but still maintained its spot in third in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference standings, as well as 13th in the Pairwise rankings, a metric used to select at-large bids for the NCAA Tournament.
The Broncos host No. 2/3 St. Cloud State on Friday and Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The Huskies sit in first place in the NCHC standings and are ranked at the top of the Pairwise rankings. During the series with SCSU, the WMU hockey team will be teaming up with Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes to help fill the charity organization's panty. For more information, click here.
