KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team, once again, sits at No. 12 in both the US College Hockey Online and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls.

The Broncos have played just once game since Dec. 9, defeating Bowling Green 5-2 back on Dec. 28, but have maintained their spot at No. 12 for the past three polls. WMU has spent seven straight polls ranked in the top 15 of both polls, also spending three in the top 10 during that run.'

Western Michigan is currently one of six National Collegiate Hockey Conference teams ranked in the top 15 of both polls and takes on the top-ranked team from the NCHC this weekend at St. Cloud State on Friday and Saturday. The Broncos sit in fourth place in the conference heading into the weekend's matchup against the first-place Huskies. Friday's game is set for 8:37 p.m. and Saturday's at 8:07 p.m. Both can be seen live on NCHC.tv and heard live on the Bronco Radio Network.
