Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan heads into Oxford, Ohio with a three-game winning streak and an overall record of 9-5 and 1-0 in conference play. The Broncos are coming off an 87-75 victory over Akron on Tuesday, marking the first win over Akron since 2014. WMU seeks its first 2-0 start to MAC play since 2013.

Nobody Playing Better than Josh Davis
Junior Josh Davis has had a stellar two-game stretch for the Broncos recording 53 points on 18-of-22 shooting from the field. Against Akron, Davis went a perfect 10-of-10 from the field and scored a game-high 26 points. Davis became just the second player in WMU history to shoot 100 percent, minimum 10 attempts and fourth player in MAC history to do so.

The Detroit, Mich., native is one of just six players in the nation to register a perfect mark from the field. Davis is also the reigning MAC West Player of the Week after scoring a career-high 27 points against Chicago State on Dec. 30.

MAC Regular Season Win Streak
WMU has won nine straight MAC regular season games dating back to last season, the second longest streak in program history. From March 8, 1975 to Feb. 11, 1976, the Broncos won a program record 11 straight MAC regular season games.

Just One More for Coach Hawkins
Head coach Steve Hawkins needs just one win to earn his 400th career victory. Hawkins would become the only coach in the conference to have 400 career victories.

Road Warriors
WMU is 3-1 on the road this season and has won its last three road games at Saint Louis, Detroit Mercy and Milwaukee. The Broncos last season won a total of three road games.

Streaking Against the RedHawks
Despite trailing the all-time series, WMU has held the advantage against Miami in recent history as the Broncos haven't lost to the RedHawks since 2009.

Last Time Out vs. Miami
The last time both WMU and Miami met on the court, a trip to Cleveland was on the line as the No.5 seeded Broncos hung on for a 65-61 win over the RedHawks in the first round of the MAC Tournament. The brown and gold had four score in double figures with Tucker Haymond leading the way with 16 points and six rebounds.

Scouting Miami
Miami enters Saturday's contest with an overall record of 8-6 and 1-0 in MAC play. The RedHawks began the conference season with a 77-72 road victory over Bowling Green as freshman forward Dalonte Brown led the offense with 16 points and 17 rebounds.

The RedHawks are one of the best rebounding teams in the MAC, leading the league in rebounding offense (39.7) and rebounding margin (+5.3). Miami is led by junior Darrian Ringo who leads the MAC in assists per game (7.9) and steals per game (2.9).
