CLEVELAND – Western Michigan volleyball's Sydney LeMay was voted to the Preseason West All-Mid-American Conference Team.
LeMay, a three-time All-MAC selection, was WMU's top attacker last season. The Middleville, Mich., native averaged a career-high 3.12 kills per set and a career-best 3.89 points per set. She earned First Team All-MAC honors as one of the top middle blockers in the conference. LeMay also became the 21st player in program history to reach the 1,000 kill mark.
The Broncos, who were picked to finish third in the West in the MAC Preseason Coach's Poll, open the 2017 regular season on Friday at 7 p.m. against the University of Tennessee at the DISH Tennessee Classic. The match can be seen live on the SEC + Network and ESPN3.com.
