KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Senior tight end Donnie Ernsberger has been named to the 2017 John Mackey Preseason Watch List, awarded annually to the most outstanding collegiate tight end. Ernsberger is one of five tight ends in the MAC to be named to the list.

Ernsberger was named to the 2016 All-MAC Team after being one of the best blockers for a team that finished 24^th in the country in rushing with 228.9 yards per game. He was also a threat in the passing game, with over 80 yards in his last four games, including a touchdown in the home regular season finale against Toledo.

Ernsberger is the second Bronco to be named to a watch list this summer after center John Keenoy was named to the Remington Award Watch List for the nation's best center.
