KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Over 80 golfers gathered for the second annual Western Michigan Men's Basketball Lary Blahnik Golf Outing this past Friday, June 23.

The outing was held at Angels Crossing Golf Club in Vicksburg, Mich. Money raised through the event will benefit the WMU men's basketball program and go towards projects such as locker room upgrades and renovations.

"I'd like to thank everyone who participated in our second annual Lary Blahnik golf outing," said WMU head coach Steve Hawkins. "We had a great day of laughs, golf, and even talked some basketball. The funds raised will continue to help us run a first class program that our student-athletes enjoy playing while our community and alumni can take pride in."

The winning foursome of Doug Back, Mike Seberger, Harold Triche and Tim Waun shot a 48 edging out 20 other teams to take this year's title.
