MUNCIE, Ind. – Western Michigan women's tennis saw its 2017 season come to an end Friday afternoon, as the No. 6 seeded Broncos fell to the No. 3 seeded Buffalo Bulls 4-0 in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament Quarterfinals.

The Bulls grabbed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2, while the team of Tracy Kuhle/Katja Fevralev went unfinished at No. 3.
Buffalo earned singles wins at No. 5, No. 4 and No. 2 to clinch the match. Denise Azcui was up a set at No. 6, but went unfinished, while Melina Lyubomirova was in a battle at No. 1, as both players won a set and Lyubomirova was up 3-1 in the third.
WMU finishes the season 10-13 overall and went 6-4 at home. WMU will lose Kuhle, but return the rest of the squad in 2017-18.
