KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team will close out its regular season with a road match at Bowling Green on Sunday, April 23 at 1 p.m.

The Broncos enter the final weekend with a 9-12 overall record and are 3-4 in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) while Bowling Green is 5-13 and 1-5 in the MAC, needing a win over Northern Illinois on Friday to stay in the hunt for the MAC Tournament.
WMU is led in singles by senior Barbare Eristavi, who boasts a team-leading 24-7 overall record, 6-1 record in the MAC and is riding a six-match winning streak. Senior Tracy Kuhle and sophomore Denise Azcui are each 4-3 in the MAC.
In doubles play, the duo of Kuhle/sophomore Melina Lyubomirova lead the team with 10 wins while Eristavi/Gabriela Slavova are 6-4 and Azcui/Katja Fevralev are 6-3.
A win over Bowling Green clinches a spot in the MAC Tournament for the Broncos. Ball State hosts the MAC Tournament from Friday, April 28 through Sunday, April 30.
