KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team saw its doubles duo of senior Matt Hamilton and junior Maik Steiner named the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Doubles Team of the Week after their 2-0 weekend.

Hamilton/Steiner had a nice 2-0 weekend in doubles while helping the Broncos go 2-0 with wins over Ball State and Northern Illinois. In their first action together in over a month the duo beat the Cardinals' Conner Andersen/Tom Carney 6-3 and then earned the doubles point clincher over NIU's Louis Hamel/Tom Hjertonsson. They improved to 5-3 together this season and have won their last three matches.
The Broncos will finish out the regular season this weekend, hosting Toledo for Senior Day on Saturday, April 22 at 1 p.m. at Sorensen Courts/West Hills.
