KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team will finish out its regular season with a home match on Saturday, April 22 against Toledo with a start time of 1 p.m. WMU will recognize its two seniors, Matt Hamilton and Daniel Loebel, before the match begins.

The Broncos are locked into a top-two spot in the MAC Tournament, which is hosted by WMU on April 28 & 29. The Brown & Gold need Buffalo to lose its last two matches and need to win against Toledo. The Broncos enter the match at 14-7 overall and 5-1 in the MAC while the Rockets enter at 11-12 overall and 2-4 in the MAC, needing a win to have a chance to make the tournament.
Five players have hit the 20-win plateau for the Broncos, as the duo of freshman Kennosuke Nouchi and Jannik Opitz each have 23 wins while Hamilton, Eric Olivarez and Matej Svjetlicic all have 21 wins. Nouchi and Maik Steiner are each 5-1 in the MAC play this season.
In doubles, the duo of Olivarez/Opitz are a perfect 9-0 while the team of Hamilton/Steiner were just named the MAC Doubles Team of the Week.
The Broncos will host the four-team MAC Tournament on April 28 with the semifinals and April 29 with the championship.
