KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Eric Olivarez and Jannik Opitz of the Western Michigan men's tennis team were named the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Doubles Team of the Week, voted on by the league's coaches.

Olivarez/Opitz kept their unbeaten season alive on Monday, defeating Binghamton's Kote/Saez 6-4 to earn the doubles point clincher. The two improved to 8-0 together this season and 4-0 in the MAC as the Broncos took down the Bearcats 4-3 Monday afternoon at home.  

WMU has a pair of crucial MAC matches this weekend, as the Broncos first head to face Ball State on Friday, April 14 1 p.m. and then take on Northern Illinois on the road on Sunday, April 16 at 1 p.m.
