Allison had another extremely impressive week, as he helped the Broncos go 3-0 at the Stetson Tournament and extend their winning streak to four games, two of which have come against 2016 NCAA Tournament teams.  Over the weekend, Allison led the team in home runs (1) RBI (7), total bases (9), slugging percentage (.750), on-base percentage (.500) and hit by pitch (2) while tying for the team-lead in batting average (.417) and hits (5). Allison hit one home run in each game against ETSU last weekend and extended that streak to four games with another against UConn on Friday. He had multiple hits in two of the three games this weekend, including a 2-for-3 performance that included a three-run home run and a 2-for-4 game against St. Joes where he had a double and three RBI.

Szott was a huge part of the Broncos completing the sweep at the Stetson Tournament as he was nearly untouchable in the early parts of his game against the host Hatters, facing just one batter over the minimum 4.2 innings into the game. Although he received a no decision, Szott left the Broncos in a 1-1 tie after throwing 7.0 innings allowing just one run on five hits with three strikeouts including 5.1 shutout innings.

The Broncos have traveled over to Port Charlotte, Fla., and will face Georgetown on Tuesday, March 7 at noon and face the Detroit Tigers Prospects at Joker Marchant Stadium at 11 a.m., rather than 1 p.m. as previously announced.
