MUNCIE, Ind. - The Western Michigan gymnastics team posted its third straight score of 195.200 or higher as it defeated Ball State in Muncie, Ind. 195.200-194.750 on Sunday in the first of a three-meet in five-day stretch.

Senior
Anna Corbett had a standout performance for the Broncos on Sunday. She won two titles on Sunday, capturing the vault with a season-high 9.850. That performance led her to winning the all-around title, finishing with a 38.850. She had three scores of 9.800 or higher on the day, finishing with a 9.800 as well in bars and beam.

Senior
Jessie Peszek, kept her string of outstanding performances going, scoring a 9.900 on bars to win that title. It is the second time this season she totaled a 9.900 after she posted a 9.925 earlier this season to tie the school record.

Jessica Juncaj captured the individual title on beam, with a 9.875. The 9.875 marked a career-best, besting her previous personal high set two years ago at the MAC Championships when she scored a 9.850.

Audry Merritt had her season-best performance of the year on vault, totaling a 9.800. She was joined at 9.800 by freshman
Taylor Buis and sophomore
Rachael Underwood, helping lead the Broncos to a 49.000, their best of the year in the event and tied for sixth-best in program history.

WMU will now face its last two opponents in a tri-meet on Tuesday night at University Arena when it hosts UIC and Ball State. The meet will begin at 7 p.m.
