KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Cetera Washington, an assistant coach for Western Michigan women's basketball, was named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) 30 Under 30 List, presented by Marriott Rewards.

The WBCA 30 Under 30 presented by Marriott Rewards® program was created to recognize 30 up-and-coming women's basketball coaches age 30 and under at all levels of the game. Each honoree has exemplified their involvement in community service, mentorship and impact on others, professional manner, and attitude and professional association involvement.

"We are very happy for Cetera's recognition," head coach Shane Clipfell said. "She's an outstanding young coach with a very bright future in this profession and we are very happy to call her a Bronco and a friend."

Washington, who just finished up her third season with WMU, primarily deals with the Bronco guards. A Loy Norrix High School graduate, Washington played four seasons at Michigan State where she was a three-time winner of the program's Spartan Hustle Award and was a team captain as a senior, leading MSU to a Big Ten Championship.
