KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team will look to build on its three-match winning streak, heading to the state of Wisconsin to face Marquette on Friday, Feb. 10 at 4 p.m. and Iowa in a neutral setting on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m.

The Broncos come into the weekend at 5-2 overall and won both matches last weekend over Cleveland State and UIC. Marquette is 2-1 overall, 2-0 at home and have a match against Milwaukee on Wednesday. Iowa will enter at 5-0 overall and has shutout their opponent in each of the last four matches.
"We continue to play good teams week in and week out. We have to continue to control what we can control and play good tennis," head coach Ryan Tomlinson said. "Doesn't matter who we play each week all I expect is effort and competitive play from everyone. Fight On!"
Three WMU players enter with three-match winning streaks in singles play in senior Barbare Eristavi, sophomore Melina Lyubomirova and sophomore Katja Fevralev. Eristavi and Lyubomirova are both 5-2 this spring and Eristavi also leads the team in wins overall, boasting a 16-3 record. In doubles play, the duo of junior Olivia Myers/sophomore Denise Azcui are 4-1 this spring at No. 2 while Eristavi/freshman Gabriela Slavova are 5-0 and 1-0 this spring.
Following this weekend in Milwaukee, Wis., the team will take a weekend off until Friday, Feb. 24 and host B1G Michigan State at 5 p.m.
