THE MATCHUP
The Broncos and Rockets first met in 1981, with this being the 75th meeting between the two. Toledo leads the all-time series 53-21 and has dominated the recent history, winning the last five meetings and 18 of the last 22 dating back to 2007. The Broncos winning percentage at home versus away is much higher against the Rockets, but Toledo still holds a 21-12 record when playing in Kalamazoo, Mich.Â
SCOUTING THE ROCKETS
Toledo, who is coached by ninth year head coach Tricia Cullop, enters this game  with an identical record as WMU at 14-7 overall and 5-5 in the MAC. Much like the Broncos, Toledo started out hot on the season at 8-1 but have struggled as of late in MAC play, losing three of its last five games. The Rockets, who have six international players on the roster, are led by senior Janice Monakana (12.8 ppg) and junior Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott (11.7). Toledo comes in with the No. 10 ranked scoring offense (65.0) and No. 1 ranked scoring defense (62.1) in the MAC.
