The Broncos, who are still looking for their first true road win, fall to 3-3 overall with all three losses coming against Power-Five conferences. Vanderbilt improved to 7-3 overall and 6-2 at home.

The two teams traded the first two doubles matches, as Vandy won at No. 1 and the duo of senior Matt Hamilton/freshman Jannik Opitz earned a 6-3 win at No. 2 in their first action together this season. Vandy was able to take the decisive No. 3 doubles match 6-4.

In singles play, the Commodores stormed out of the gates and won the first four matches (No. 2, No. 4, No. 5, No. 3) before freshman Kennosuke Nouchi topped Cameron Klinger 6-4, 7-6, 1-0 at No. 1 in comeback fashion. He improved to 12-4 this season and 4-2 at No. 1 this spring, the only position he's seen in the lineup. Sophomore Eric Olivarez stayed unbeaten this spring at 4-0 with a 7-6, 4-6, 1-0 win at No. 6 in the final match of the day.

The Broncos will stay in the state of Tennessee to battle Middle Tennessee State tomorrow at noon before returning home for three straight home matches next weekend.
