HOME STRETCH
With three games left in the season, two of which will come at home for WMU, the Broncos are currently sitting in eighth place in the MAC and would host Miami if the season ended today. The Broncos have confirmed they will be hosting the first round of the MAC Tournament with the loss to Ball State and Kent State's win. Last time out, the Broncos were tied with Ball State 55-55 early in the fourth quarter, but the Cardinals pulled away in the end by converting on their final 10 field goals.Â

Meredith Shipman has been hot as of late, hitting multiple 3-pointers in 11 straight games and 19 games this season. She is now fifth in career 3-pointers made at WMU (163) and is chasing Julia Henson (2011-14) for fourth place with 165. In MAC play, she is fifth in 3-pointers made (41) and tied for 11th in 3-point field goal percentage (.369). She leads the team with five 20+ point performances this season.
THE MATCHUP
The Broncos and Rockets first met in 1981, with this being the 76th meeting between the two. Toledo leads the all-time series 54-21 and has dominated the recent history, winning the last six meetings and 19 of the last 23 dating back to 2007. Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott (12.3), Mikaela Boyd (11.5) and Kaala McIntyre (10.5) round out the top-four.
