The Broncos are looking to get back on track in MAC play, as the team has lost four straight and five of six overall in the team's toughest stretch of the season where six of seven team's on the schedule have winning overall records (dating back to Kent State on Jan. 18). The Broncos own the No. 6 ranked scoring offense (67.9) and No. 3 ranked scoring defense (65.0) in the MAC while tying with Buffalo for the conference lead in steals (9.4) and tying for second in offensive rebounding (14.0).Â
SHIPMAN'S SHOOTING STREAK
Senior
Meredith Shipman has been hot as of late, hitting multiple 3-pointers in seven straight games and 15 games this season. She is now fifth in career 3-pointers made at WMU (152) and is chasing Julia Henson (2011-14) for fourth place with 165. In MAC play, she is fifth in 3-pointers made (52) and eight in 3-point field goal percentage (.395). She leads the team with five 20+ point performances this season.

THE MATCHUP
This rivalry has been exactly even throughout history, with the series tied 49-49. CMU has owned the recent series, winning the last three matchups and 15 of the last 18 overall. The Chippewas have won eight straight in Mount Pleasant, Mich., and lead 24-21 when playing at home. CMU knocked WMU out of the MAC Tournament last season, while the Broncos knocked the Chippewas out in 2015. WMU dropped a tight contest at CMU last season, as the Chippewas came out with a 53-51 win.

The Chippewas, who are coached by 10th year head coach Sue Guevara, come in at 17-6 overall and are tied for second in the MAC West with a 9-2 record. The Chippewas have won nine of their past 11 and 10 straight at home. CMU features four players that score in double-figures in sophomore Presley Hudson (18.0), junior Tinara Moore (15.6), junior Cassie Breen (12.3) and redshirt senior Jewel Cotton (11.4). Sophomore Reyna Frost scores 9.3 ppg and leads the MAC in rebounding at 11.4 rpg.Â
