WMU Hockey Maintains Top 10 Ranking

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey is set to spend its third-straight week in the top 10 after earning the 10 spot in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll that was released on Monday afternoon.

The Broncos (9-7-1, 5-3-0 NCHC) sits in third place in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference standings despite a setback against No. 6 North Dakota last weekend. WMU also comes in at 11th in the US College Hockey Online poll.

Western Michigan returns to Lawson Ice Arena this weekend to host National Collegiate Hockey Conference rival Miami, also receiving votes in the USCHO.com poll, on Friday and Saturday.
