KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's basketball team and the coaching staff have announced the addition of one game to its 2017-18 schedule. The Broncos will welcome Goshen College on Tuesday, Dec. 19 inside University Arena at 6 p.m.

Due to the effects of Hurricane Maria, the Broncos withdrew from the Puerto Rico Classic for safety concerns. WMU head coach Shane Clipfell said finding a replacement game was of top priority.

"We have added Goshen College to our schedule on December 19th as a result of dropping out of the Puerto Rico Tournament that was scheduled during the same time," added Clipfell. "We really appreciate Goshen College working with us to make this happen as it will alleviate what would have otherwise been a very long time without a game." 

Admission to this game will be free to the public.
