Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan is currently on a two-game win streak after defeating Northwood at home and Saint Louis on the road. In their last contest against Saint Louis, the Broncos had three score in double figures and used a 19-4 run late in the second half to defeat the Billikens. Within the Mid-American Conference WMU ranks second in steals (14.1), fourth in blocks (3.7) and fifth in rebounding (38.3).

Thomas Wilder is the only player in WMU history to amass 1,500 career points, 300 assists and 300 rebounds. Wilder also ranks seventh all-time at WMU in career scoring with 1,576 points. The Montgomery, Ill., native has scored at least 10 points in 26 straight games, the sixth longest streak in the NCAA.

WMU has won eight straight home games and four straight home non-conference games. Since 2003, the Broncos are 60-14 in non-conference home games.

The Broncos have been dominant in the paint this season, averaging 31.1 points per game. WMU had a season-high 54 points in the paint in an 88-59 victory over Northwood.

Oakland is coming off a 97-87 victory over Texas Southern on Thursday. OU is led by guard Kendrick Nunn who is averaging 23.8 points per game.
