NO. 1 SEED WESTERN MICHIGAN (15-2-1, 5-0-0 MAC)
• Western Michigan enters MAC Tournament ranked No. 4 in the nation, highest ever in program history
• WMU has been ranked nine consecutive weeks in the United Soccer Coaches poll, spending five in the top 10
• 15-2-1 record - most wins in school history, previous record was 12
• First regular season MAC Championship
• WMU went undefeated in MAC play, 5-0-0
• WMU did not allow a goal during MAC play, outscoring opponents 9-0
• Western Michigan's two losses were in back-to-back games, at Portland (4-1) on Sept. 29 and at home vs. No. 6 Michigan State (1-0) on Oct. 4
• WMU defeated each of the other three MAC Tournament seeds in 1-0 games
• Senior Brandon Bye leads the MAC in goals (12), game-winning goals (5), points (29) and shots (77)
• Senior Jay McIntosh and junior Tommy Clark are tied for a league-best eight assists. McIntosh also ranks third in points with 18, also scoring five goals this season.
• Redshirt senior Drew Shepherd set school goalkeeper records this year for career shutouts (27), single-season shutouts (11) and single-season wins (14). Shepherd is 14-1-1 this season in goal.
• WMU's 12 overall shutouts tied a school single-season record
• Western Michigan has one MAC Tournament Championship in school history, coming in 2003 when the Broncos defeated Bowling Green 5-0 in Kalamazoo, The Broncos defeated Marshall (1-0) and Akron (0-0, won shootout) on their way to the title game.

NO. 2 SEED AKRON (14-3-1, 4-1-0 MAC)
• Akron enters MAC Tournament ranked No. 7 in the nation
• Until this season, Akron had won the last 12 regular season titles, dating back to 2005. Before WMU the last MAC team to clinch an outright MAC regular season was Kentucky in 2004.
• Akron has won the last five consecutive and 11 of the last 13 MAC Tournaments. Northern Illinois won the tournament in 2006 & 2011.
• Overall, Akron has 19 regular season MAC titles and 13 MAC Tournament titles.
• Stuart Holthusen ranks second in the conference for goals (8) and points (19). Sam Gainford is third in goals (6) and fourth in points (16). Three other players have five assists apiece for the Zips.
• The Zips defeated SIUE, 3-1 in Akron during the regular season on Oct. 13. Akron bettered West Virginia, 4-0, on Oct. 27. The Zips lone MAC loss was a 1-0 decision at Western Michigan on Oct. 7.
• Akron enters the game on an eight-game winning streak. The last loss was to Western Michigan.
• All three of Akron's losses have been to Top 25 ranked opponents. Akron lost games by a 1-0 score at No. 16 Utah Valley and at No. 3 Denver to open the season. WMU was ranked No. 12.
• The Zips have posted 10 shutouts this season, with goalkeeper Ben Lundt (10-3-1 record) in goal for eight of those.

NO. 3 SEED SIUE (7-9-1, 2-3-0 MAC)
• SIUE is in its first year competing in the Mid-American Conference as an affiliate in men's soccer
• SIUE has appeared in three consecutive conference tournament finals, winning Missouri Valley Conference titles in 2014 and 2016. This weekend marks the sixth straight conference tournament semifinal appearance for the Cougars.
• The Cougars' three MAC losses were against the other three seeds in this year's MAC Tournament. SIUE fell to Akron (3-1) on Oct. 13, Western Michigan (1-0) on Oct. 28 and West Virginia (2-1) on Nov. 4
• This year, 10 of SIUE's games have been decided by a single goal. The Cougars are 3-7 in one-goal games.
• Jorge Gonzalez leads the team with 12 points and five goals. He is fifth in the MAC with five goals. Eric Tejada is fourth in the MAC with five assists.
• Senior goalkeeper Kyle Dal Santo has seven shutouts this year. He has 27 shutouts for his career, which is the most all-time at SIUE.

NO. 4 SEED WEST VIRGINIA (9-5-4, 1-2-2 MAC)
• West Virginia has competed in the Mid-American Conference as an affiliate in men's soccer since 2012 and competed in the Big East prior to that
• Albert Andres-Llop leads the Mountaineers with 12 point on five goals and two assists. Jad Arslan (4G, 1 A) and Jorge Quintanilla (2G, 5A) each have nine points.
• Stephen Banick (6-3-2) and Steven Tekesky (3-2-2) have split time in goal this season. Banick has a 1.07 goals-against average and a .718 save percentage. Tekesky maintains a 0.97 goals-against average and a .619 save percentage.
• WVU's lone win in MAC play came in the final regular season game, defeating SIUE 2-1 in overtime on the road. The Mountaineers lost to then No. 9 ranked Akron (4-0) and Oct. 27 and against Western Michigan, ranked No. 8 at the time, (1-0, OT) on Oct. 20.
• West Virginia upset Michigan State 1-0 on Oct. 11 when the Spartans were ranked No. 5 in the country.
