Friday's schedule consisted of two rounds of doubles with a round of singles indoors at the West Hills Athletic Club. Lyubomirova picked up a doubles win, improving her overall record to 4-4 this season while junior
Denise Azcui leads the Broncos in singles, holding an overall record of 3-2 after winning her lone match this afternoon.
In singles Azcui got the Broncos started in the Brown Flight, defeating DePaul's Aline Kuzmenkova with a score of 6-4, 7-5. Jack improved her record to 3-4 this season with a 7-5, 6-0 win over Alyssa Grijalva of Colorado State in the Black Flight before sophomore
Gabriela Slavova ended the afternoon, beating Colorado State's Solene Crawley.
The Bronco squad went 1-4 in doubles after the day, led by Jack/Lybomirova. The duo faced Indiana's Bernard/Bozovic, picking up a win in their first match of the season together with a 6-4 victory.
Saturday will run the same format as Friday, with two rounds of doubles starting at 10 a.m. followed by one round of singles. Sunday will conclude the final round of singles starting at 9 a.m.
