KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team moved up in both the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls, coming in at 10 in USCHO and eight in USA Today/USA Hockey's rankings.

The Broncos moved up one spot each in both polls after splitting with No. 18 Colgate over the weekend. WMU (9-5-1, 4-1-0-0 NCHC) took the Friday night game against the Raiders, 5-3, while CU took Saturday's contest 5-1. This is the second-straight week in the Top 10 for Western Michigan in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, while the first time in the USCHO.com Top 10.

The Broncos continue National Collegiate Hockey Conference play this weekend, heading to No. 6 North Dakota for games on Friday at 8:37 p.m. and on Saturday at 8:07 p.m. It's the lone time this regular season WMU and UND will battle. Both games can be seen live on NCHC.tv and heard live on the Bronco Radio Network.
