KALAMAZOO, Mich. – After sweeping Omaha, the Western Michigan hockey team has jumped into the top 10 of the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, coming in at ninth this week.

WMU is also ranked 11th in the US College Hockey Online poll, moving up from 15 in last week's voting. The Broncos have catapulted themselves up the national rankings in the past few weeks after sweeping No. 1 Denver, splitting with No. 12 Minnesota-Duluth on the road and the two wins over the Mavericks.

Western Michigan is back in action this weekend, hosting No. 18 Colgate on Friday and Saturday. Bronco fans can take advantage of the Holiday Special and for just $12 get a ticket, a hot dog, a bag of chips and a water.
