"I'm very proud of the team to represent the way we do in the classroom and on the field," said head coach Lauren Sinacola. "To work hard in order to excel on the field as an athlete comes naturarlly at this level, but to manage your time and stay invested in your education at the same time is impressive and it doesn't come easily. Congratulations to all who have been selected to the Academic All-MAC team, outstanding accomplishment as a student-athlete to be influential both on and off the field."
The 13 student-athletes are now eligible for MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete honors, which are voted upon by the institutions Faculty Academic Representatives.
