KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan men's soccer team national ranking has moved up to No. 8 in the country according to the United Soccer Coaches Poll. The Broncos RPI is now at No. 11 in Division I men's soccer.

The Broncos are also ranked in several other formats.

Soccer America both have WMU at No. 12, while
TopDrawerSoccer has the Broncos at No. 9 in its rankings.
The No. 8 ranking is the highest for the Broncos in school history. The previous high was No. 9 earlier in late September. The Broncos have now been ranked for five consecutive weeks. The Broncos debuted in the United Soccer Coaches poll this season on Sept. 12 at No. 24. WMU moved up 12 spots the following week to No. 12. After a big win against No. 22 Michigan and UMBC the Broncos then moved to No. 9. After a loss to Portland the Broncos fell to No. 13 but now are back in the top-10 after wins against Akron and Northern Illinois.
WMU takes on University of Wisconsin Green Bay today at 4 p.m. at the WMU Soccer Complex. The Broncos will then play at West Virginia this Friday Oct. 20 at 7 p.m.
