KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan men's soccer team has moved to No. 13 in the country according to the NCAA and the United Soccer Coaches' Poll. It is the fifth-straight week the Broncos are ranked in the top 25. WMU's RPI is ranked No. 9 this week, the highest among Mid-American Conference programs.

Western Michigan has a 10-2-1 record this season and has defeated three Top 25 opponents. The Broncos downed No. 21 Butler, 3-2, and No. 22 Michigan, 1-0, both ranked in the USC Poll. WMU is coming off a 1-0 victory over Akron this past Saturday. The Zips were ranked No. 8 by TopDrawerSoccer.
WMU heads to Northern Illinois for its first MAC road game this Friday, Oct. 14. Kickoff from DeKalb, Ill., is at 8 p.m.
