The Broncos have won 13 of their last 15 games, including a  10-game winning streak earlier in the season; It was the Broncos' longest winning streak (10 games) since the 1986-87 season. With the hot start to the season, the Broncos have made their way into the College Insider Mid-Major Top-25 poll, where they are currently receiving votes.  In MAC play this season, the Broncos rank sixth in scoring offense (72.1) and third in scoring defense (62.0). This is the best start to a season through 18 games since the 1986-87 season, where the team was 15-3.Â

Deja Wimby has done a little bit of everything for the Broncos this season, as she's the only player in division one to average at least 11.0 ppg, 6.0 apg, 5.0 rpg and 3.0 spg. For the Broncos, she is fourth in scoring (11.3), third in rebounding (5.6) and leads the team in assists (6.0), steals (3.0) and free throws made/attempted (54-of-80). She's had eight games of at least five rebounds/five assists and has scored in double-figures in six of the last seven games. Meredith Shipman is tied for second in the league at 3.0 steals per game. In the last three games, Wimby is averaging 5.3 steals per game, including a career-high seven at Akron last time out. Wimby and Shipman have combined for 18 games where at least one of the players had three or more steals.Â

The Broncos and Bobcats have been about even in the series history, with Ohio owning a 29-27 advantage. WMU has won three of the last five meetings, but have dropped three of the last four games in Athens.
