KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Fresh off its split over No. 1 Denver, the Western Michigan hockey team has moved up two spots to 12 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll and up one spot to 13 in the US College Hockey Online poll.

WMU (11-6-3, 5-6-1-1 NCHC) took down a top-ranked opponent for the second time this season after the 3-0 win over the Pioneers on Friday. The No. 12 ranking is a season-high for the Broncos, who have now been in the national rankings for the last nine polls.

Western Michigan continues National Collegiate Hockey Conference play at home against Colorado College on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are available by calling 1-888-4-WMUTIX or at wmubroncos.com/tickets.
