WHERE WE STAND

Last time out, the Broncos suffered their first loss since Nov. 21, as Ball State snapped WMU's 10-game winning streak in Muncie, Ind. It was  the Broncos' longest winning streak (10 games) since the 1986-87 season. WMU's other  two defeats were against Big Ten teams, falling to then No. 21 ranked Michigan State in overtime on Nov. 18 and on the road at Michigan three days later. With the hot start to the season, the Broncos have now made their way into the College Insider Mid-Major Top-25 poll, where they are currently receiving votes.

HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
Western Michigan is 39-22 when playing at University Arena under head coach Shane Clipfell, including an impressive 12-2 record in the 2014-15 season. Clipfell's team has never finished with a below .500 home record in four seasons. In 2015-16, the Broncos opened with a perfect 7-0 record at home and finished the home season with a 94-52  win over Northern Illinois in the opening round of the MAC Tournament, the largest win in the MAC Tournament in school history. The Broncos are 5-1 at home this season, with the only loss coming in overtime to No. 21 Michigan State.

LEADING THE MAC
Sophomore forward Breanna Mobley has been a beast on the glass in the MAC season, as she leads the conference at 15.7 rebounds per game through three games. She leads the league in offensive rebounding as well, grabbing 7.6 offensive rebounds a game.

MS. CONSISTENCY
Redshirt junior Marley Hill has scored in double figures in every game this season, the only member of the team to do so. She leads the team in scoring (16.4 ppg), free throws made (44), free-throw percentage (.846) and field goals (91). She's been doing it on the defensive end too, where she leads the team in blocks (18) and is second in rebounding (5.9 rpg).

THE MATCHUP
The Broncos and Falcons first met in 1977, with this being the 63rd meeting between the two. Although the Falcons lead the all-time series 35-27, the Broncos have owned the recent history, winning the last four meetings including both games by double-figures last season.

FALCONS SCOUTING REPORT
Bowling Green, who is coached by fifth year head coach Jennifer Roos, enters this game 5-10 overall and 1-2 in the MAC. The Falcons snapped a five-game losing streak last time out, taking down Akron 62-58 on the road. This team is led by Carly Santoro and Sydney Lambert, who score 12.5 and 8.4 points per game, respectively.
