CLEVELAND - Zach Terrell was named the MAC West Offensive Player of the Week on Monday for his performance in Western Michigan's 49-31 win over Georgia Southern on Saturday to improve to 4-0 this season. It is the Broncos' best start since 1994 when the team started 5-0.

Terrell was 18-of-27 on the day for 270 yards and four touchdowns against the Eagles. For the year, he has nine touchdown passes against zero interceptions. His four touchdown passes tied a career-high, a feat he has previously done four other times. For his career, Terrell has 72 TD passes, fourth place all-time at Western Michigan and just two behind Alex Carder who is in third with 74.

This is the first MAC Player of the Week honor for Terrell this season.
