KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team will be featured three times on American Sports Network for the 2016-17 season.

The Broncos, who will also be on CBS Sports network twice, get their national television debut for the season on Friday, Nov. 4 when they host Miami. WMU's home game against Air Force on Nov. 18 will also be on ASN.

Western Michigan's final appearance on ASN forces a time change for the Friday, Jan. 13 game against Denver. Puck drop at Lawson Ice Arena has been moved to 6:30 p.m. to accommodate a double-header that night by ASN.

The Broncos open the 2016-17 season with their annual "Border Battle," this time taking on the University of Toronto at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1
