KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Thanks to many generous sponsors and fans, the Western Michigan women's basketball team's 10th Annual Golf Outing was a total success on Sunday, August 7 at Pine View Golf Club in Three Rivers, Mich.
"Our 10th annual golf outing turned out to be the best one yet in terms of the amount of support that we generated," head coach Shane Clipfell said. "Although we don't have the final numbers done yet, we are anticipating a 20-25% increase from last year's event! We want to thank our golf committee for their tireless efforts they put into this event as their hard work was very evident throughout the day. Our sponsorship list continues to grow each year and we know this event is not possible without that support. Our golfers were very generous throughout the day participating in our cheater packets, raffles and silent auction."
