KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan football team officially begins the 2016 preseason when it reports to fall camp on Sunday, Aug. 7. The Broncos will also hold their annual Football Media Day on Sunday. The first practice of the year is Monday, Aug. 8 at 3:30 p.m.
The Media Day portion of Sunday begins at 1 p.m., in the W-Club which is located on the third floor of the Seelye Athletic Center. Coach Fleck will address the media from 1-2 p.m., and seven Bronco players will be available at individual tables in the W-Club from 2-3.
Last month, Western Michigan was picked to win both the Mid-American Conference West Division and the MAC Championship game by the league's media. Returning players are highlighted by All-MAC standouts

The Broncos are coming off an 8-5 season which included the first bowl win in program history, a 45-31 victory over Middle Tennessee State in the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl. WMU also earned its first share of the MAC West title since 2000, finishing 6-2 in conference play.
Davis enters the season as the second-leading receiver in Bronco history with 3,785 yards, and is just 1,200 yards away from becoming the all-time leading receiver in FBS history. He is the leading active FBS receiver and has been named to prestigious watch lists this summer such as the Biletnikoff Award, Walter Camp Award and Maxwell Award.
Terrell ended 2015 as the seventh leading active quarterback in the country in passing efficiency. This offseason he has been named to five watch lists (Wuerffel Trophy, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm, Davey O'Brien CFPA Award and AFCA Good Works Team).
