KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan baseball team announced its annual Prospect Camp is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 9 at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field.
WMU Prospect Camps provide a tremendous opportunity to receive vital fundamental instruction and the opportunity to be evaluated by the Western Michigan coaching staff. The camp is designed for the serious individual who desires to play at the highest level.
Medical Waiver & Concussion Information Forms MUST be completed prior to participation. Please bring both signed documents to registration. Campers will not be permitted to participate without completed paperwork.
FACILITIES
Camp will take place at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field. Hyames Field was the first site ever of the College World Series in 1947 and is located next to Waldo Football Stadium.
LOCATION - Hyames Field
Kalamazoo, the home of WMU's main campus, is located midway between Chicago and Detroit, approximately 2 hours (140 miles) from each on Interstate 94. Hyames Field is located off of Stadium Dr., just past Waldo Football Stadium. GPS intersection of Stadium Dr. and W. Michigan Ave. in Kalamazoo.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
Bat, helmet, turf/tennis shoes, cleats, baseball pants. An athletic trainer will be present.
