KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team continues to hold steady in the national rankings, coming it at 16th in the US College Hockey Online poll on Monday afternoon.

The Broncos (8-5-3, 4-5-1-1 NCHC) earned 257 points from the poll's voters and have now appeared in the USCHO.com poll for the last six weeks, reaching as high as 13. WMU is also receiving votes in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, placing them unofficially 17th.

Western Michigan heads to the Great Lakes Invitational sitting in third place in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference, one point ahead of St. Cloud State.
