"We are ecstatic about our signing class as we went after both versatility and length at our perimeter positions," Clipfell said. "We also hit a home run with each of these kids being winners having come from very successful high school and AAU programs with quality coaching."
"They also each bring us terrific character and work ethic that we believe to be the most vital resource one can possess," Clipfell added. "We believe we have found not only a very physically talented group, but also a group that will be great ambassadors to this University and to the great city of Kalamazoo. Bronco fans are going to love watching this class throughout their years here at Western Michigan University."

Clipfell on Farkic: "Nina Farkic will be the first Canadian in my five years as head coach here and we think we found a winner. She is a versatile wing that can play multiple positions and can score multiple ways. She took advantage of staying in high school for an extra year in Canada with Grade 13, which has also allowed her to spend quality time in the gym."
Jordy Walker – PG – 5'8 – Mona Shores (Norton Shores, Mich.)
Walker became the fastest player in Mona Shores history to score 1,000 points during her junior season, where she helped lead her squad to their third straight OK Black Conference championship. As a

She is also a quality student and citizen not only within her school district, but also on a state-wide level having been part of the MHSAA's Leadership Team for student-athletes. She has a very high basketball IQ and spends a great deal of time in the gym honing her craft."
Leighah-Amori Wool - F - 6'0 - Evanston, Ill. (Evanston High School)

Wool also carries a 3.6 GPA and has been on her school's honor roll in every semester.
Clipfell on Wool: "We are very happy we have been able to add another versatile player in Leighah Amori Wool to our 2017 class. She is a stretch 4 with good size and a very complete skill set. She has great range, can score in the lane and can make the right pass. She is the leading scorer in her schools history and also owns the record for 3 pointers made. We believe she has had some very good coaching in her AAU program and is being well prepared by her high school coach who also played at the major college level."
