Bronco Women's Tennis Ends Fall Schedule; Super Challenge Final Recap

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan women's tennis finished up its fall schedule with the WMU Super Challenge Sunday morning, ending the day with a 6-2 record in singles.

Senior Meika Ashby and sophomores Katja Fevralev and Denise Azcui all went 3-0 on the weekend including a win on Sunday. Senior Barbare Eristavi earned a 6-2, 6-4 win on Sunday, as she finished the fall schedule with an impressive 11-1 record. Sophomore Melina Lyubomirova and freshman Gabriela Slavova each earned wins on Sunday. In all of WMU's wins on Sunday, none of the players dropped a set to the opponent. 

The Broncos will take over a month off from competition, returning to action on January 14 with a pair of home matches against Oakland and Valpo.
