KALAMAZOO, Mich. – For the first time since March 11, 2013, the Western Michigan hockey team is ranked in both the USCHO.com and the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls.

The Broncos (7-3-2, 3-3-0 NCHC) head into this weekend's showdown against St. Cloud State ranked 16th by USCHO.com and 13th by USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine. The ranking by USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine is the highest since WMU was voted ninth back on March 11, 2013.

Western Michigan welcomes the Huskies, who come in at 17 in the USCHO.com poll, to Lawson Ice Arena on Friday and Saturday. This is the first matchup between ranked opponents for WMU since its split at No. 1 Minnesota-Duluth back on Nov. 11-12.  Both games are slated for 7 p.m. starts and tickets are available by calling 1-888-4-WMUTIX or online at wmubroncos.com. Both games can be seen live on NCHC.tv and heard on the Bronco Radio Network.
